Foi pensada, tamb\u00e9m, como espa\u00e7o de articula\u00e7\u00e3o social, que promove atividades educativas e formativas, atendendo diretamente \u00e0 popula\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p><p>A Rede \u00e9 dividida em quatro N\u00facleos: Jo\u00e3o Pessoa, Santa Rita\/Tibiri II, Forte Velho e Bayeux e tem um calend\u00e1rio anual elaborado em conjunto com os (as) integrantes da Rede. Desde seu surgimento, teve uma preocupa\u00e7\u00e3o maior com a quest\u00e3o ambiental, e a maioria de suas atividades est\u00e3o diretamente ligadas ao tema. Uma das atividades mais significativas \u00e9 a Via Sacra do Meio Ambiente, realizada em Santa Rita, Bayeux e Jo\u00e3o Pessoa. Em Forte Velho, o enfoque \u00e9 voltado para os rios, e tem como equivalente o Projeto Pescando Lixo.<\/p><p>Al\u00e9m da conscientiza\u00e7\u00e3o popular atrav\u00e9s de atividades pontuais, distribui\u00e7\u00e3o de panfletos, coleta de lixo e caminhadas ecol\u00f3gicas, a Rede tamb\u00e9m tem destacado a import\u00e2ncia do descarte adequado de res\u00edduos. Um dos res\u00edduos mais danosos \u00e0 sa\u00fade coletiva \u00e9 o \u00f3leo de cozinha usado. Assim, tamb\u00e9m promove oficinas onde \u00e9 poss\u00edvel aprender a transformar esse \u00f3leo em sab\u00e3o ecol\u00f3gico.<\/p><p>A Rede \u00e9 apoiada pela entidade alem\u00e3 Misereor e coordenada pela Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Margarida Maria Alves, desde seu in\u00edcio.
